Apr 15,  · 4. **Savages - sounds really mainstream not to say it's bad. The songs are still in the classic Breathe Carolina style, but this is definitely an album to attract new fans. I actually found the bass too strong in most of the songs and the vocals were a bit understated/5(35).

Breathe Carolina has always put out some decent music although I can't say I'm very blown away by this CD. It had a few good songs including "Sellouts", but I can't help but think the album couldn't have had a bit of extra polish. The songs all sound very similar and use a lot of overused electronic elements.

Breathe Carolina are known for being a band with one particular gimmick - they're a pop group that literally embodies the good cop/bad cop vocal dynamic, with David Schmitt playing the role of the pretty boy clean vocalist and Kyle Evans as the rough rider.

"Savages" is the fourth studio album from American electronic group Breathe Carolina, and is the first without vocalist Kyle Even. Breathe Carolina was on the verge of busting into the mainstream with "Hell Is What You Make It," and all it took was a solid release with "Savages" to put them on the map.
